Landslip on line affects Yorkshire rail services

Some services will not call at Bradford Interchange station

Rail services in part of West Yorkshire have been suspended following a landslip.

Northern Rail said the line was closed between Sowerby Bridge and Bradford Interchange to carry out repairs. Work is expected to continue on Tuesday.

The disruption will affect services travelling between Blackpool North/Manchester Victoria and Leeds/York only.

Some services will not call at Halifax, Bradford Interchange or New Pudsey.

A number of replacement buses will will run between Hebden Bridge and Bradford.
