Parents in Leeds given baby boxes to help with new arrivals

New parents in Leeds are being offered cardboard boxes containing free gifts as part of a drive to encourage safer sleeping for newborns by the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Parents can get a box, which can be used for the baby to sleep in, by finishing an online tutorial.

It also contains nappies and a hat, and the idea comes from a long-running scheme in Finland.
