Leeds: Van driver arrested after motorcyclist critically injured

A man has been arrested after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash with a van in Leeds, police said.
Officers were called to the junction of Easterly Road and Boggart Hill Drive, Seacroft, shortly before 07:00 GMT.
The rider of the motorbike, a 51-year-old man, was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
The 21-year-old van driver has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and remains in police custody.
Roads in the area were closed for a number of hours and police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
