Commuters faced travel disruption on Thursday morning after a fire broke out on a train at Leeds railway station.
Operator Northern said it was aware of a fire on a train at Leeds, with some lines blocked.
Emergency services were on the scene and were dealing with the incident, a spokesperson said.
TransPennine Express said services could be cancelled or delayed, with disruption expected to continue until around 10:00 BST.
A spokesperson for Northern said: "Some services are unable to run through Leeds station due to the electricity supply being switched off to the overhead power lines.
"All services through Leeds will be affected by delays or cancellations."
Services to Carlisle, Morecambe, Lancaster, Skipton, Bradford, Ilkley and Doncaster are among those affected.
