West Yorkshire PCSO charged with off-duty sex offences

A Police Community Support Officer from West Yorkshire has been charged with a number of sexual offences.
Police said Paul Simpkins, 42, based in the Kirklees district, was charged with three sexual assaults committed off duty between February and July 2022.
He had been suspended from duty since the beginning of the investigation, according to the West Yorkshire force.
He was due to appear at Bradford Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, a police spokesperson said.
