Man seriously injured in Morley hit-and-run

A pedestrian has been seriously inured in a hit-and-run crash, West Yorkshire Police said.
The man was on Middleton Road, in Morley, at about 20:00 BST on Saturday when he was hit by a Range Rover Evoque travelling towards Fountain Street.
The driver failed to stop following the collision, police said.
A 30-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. Officers have appealed for witness to come forward.
