New Farnley stabbing: Boy, 17, in court over murder of woman, 60

A 17-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with murdering a 60-year-old woman who was stabbed to death.
The woman, who has not been formally identified, was found seriously injured at an address in Prince Edward Grove in Leeds, shortly after 11:00 BST on Monday, West Yorkshire Police said.
She was taken to hospital but died as a result of her injuries.
The boy, who cannot be named due to his age, is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court on Thursday.
