West Yorkshire Police officer charged with off-duty sexual offences

A student police officer has been charged with off-duty sexual offences.
West Yorkshire Police officer PC Charlie Valente is due at Leeds Crown Court on Wednesday charged with three counts of sexual touching.
The alleged offences are said to have taken place in Leeds on 4 and 5 November last year involving two women.
The 23-year-old, who is based at the Learning and Organisational Development, is currently suspended from duty, the force said.
