Lego the cat was rescued from the roof sheltering the apartment block's entrance
A cat was rescued from an apartment block roof canopy by firefighters after he left his third-floor flat.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said Lego "nipped out for some fresh air" on Thursday at the block in Shipley, Bradford.
Lego became stuck on the first-floor canopy covering the block's main entrance, with Shipley Blue Watch firefighters attending.
He was safely brought down a ladder from the canopy on Oswald Street.

West Yorkshire Fire Service said Lego "forgot" he lived in a flat on the third floor of the building
The fire service, who were assisted by the RSPCA during the rescue, jokingly called it a "total cat-astrophe!"
