The lorry which was ablaze was carrying household appliances, according to National Highways
A lorry fire on a motorway in West Yorkshire which caused long delays on Tuesday morning has been cleared.
Emergency crews were called to a fire involving a lorry carrying household appliances at about 03:15 GMT on the M62 westbound, National Highways said.
At the height of the incident, drivers were warned of seven miles of queueing traffic after the road was partially closed at Junction 25, near Brighouse.
The blaze was put out and the road fully reopened at about 09:25 GMT.
