Leeds Dogs Trust 'most overlooked' dog hoping for Christmas miracle

A dog which has been waiting for a new home for more than a year has not received a single application for adoption, a charity has said.
Dogs Trust in Leeds said Domino, a nine-year-old lurcher cross, is their "most overlooked" pet.
The organisation has asked for help to find him a home this Christmas.
A charity spokesperson said Domino was a "super fun, clever, and affectionate" dog who was in need of a "Christmas miracle".
Since he arrived at the centre in August 2022 the charity has received thousands of applications from people eager to adopt pets, but not one of them has been for Domino.
Emma Wakefield, rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust Leeds, said he was "a cherished member of our family here".
"His playful nature, intelligence, and the love he exudes make us root for him to find a loving home," she said.
In the past year he has been trained by staff at the site, who said he would enjoy walking in quieter areas and living in a home without children.
