Two people have been charged following the "controlled explosion"
Two people have been charged with offences under the Explosive Substances Act after bomb disposal experts were called to a village near Halifax.
Residents in Illingworth were asked to evacuate their homes on Saturday while police carried out the "controlled destruction" of a "suspicious object".
Paul Bruveris, 46, and Rochelle Morrisson, 37, of Natty Lane in Illingworth, appeared at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Monday.
Both were remanded in custody.
