A 16-year-old boy has been arrested after a teenager was stabbed in Huddersfield, police have said.
Officers were called to reports of a stabbing in Town Avenue at about 20:35 GMT on Tuesday.
A 17-year-old boy had suffered wounds to his face, chest and hands and was taken to hospital, where his condition is described as stable, a West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said.
Officers appealed for anyone with CCTV footage or information to get in touch.
Inquiries into the incident were continuing, the force spokesperson added.
