The closures will allow for work to continue on the Wentbridge Viaduct in West Yorkshire
A stretch of the A1 in West Yorkshire will see overnight closures for a fortnight due to roadworks.
The closures on the A1 northbound and southbound will be in place from 20:00 to 06:00 GMT between Barnsdale Bar and Ferrybridge Interchange.
Both sides will not close at the same time, National Highways said, with work continuing on the Wentbridge Viaduct.
Drivers were urged to stay on the motorway network where possible and use the M62 and M18.
Diversions would be in place, external, National Highways said, with the closures in place until 8 March.
Work on the Grade II-listed bridge carrying the A1 over the River Went began in February last year.
National Highways said it now expected to finish the project "by the end of summer 2024", with a delay caused by issues identified during inspection work.
