Shoppers were evacuated from a shopping centre in Leeds earlier after a fire broke out in the car park.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and the police were called to Trinity Leeds shopping centre, in Albion Street, at around 10:00 GMT on Friday.

The blaze had been discovered in the loading bay at the car park. The cause of the fire has not been confirmed.

No businesses were affected and the shopping centre has now reopened after the small blaze was contained.
