The incident, involving four suspects, took place at Flannels on Vicar Lane at about 19:35 GMT on Monday, West Yorkshire Police said.
The suspects, who approached the shop in two vehicles, used sledgehammers to damage the outside of the store before entering, they added.
Two men, aged 31 and 26, have been in connection with the offence.
A large quantity of designer clothing was stolen during the robbery, the force said.
Police have asked for witnesses or any vehicle drivers who were in the area at the time of the offence and may have dashcam footage to contact them.
The shop was open for business on Tuesday with part of its entrance boarded up.
