Leeds man admits terror charge after sharing Hamas images online

Ozain Yousef will be sentenced at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 9 April
A man who posted images online in support of Hamas has pleaded guilty to a terrorism offence.
Ozain Yousef, 23, of Mexborough Place, Leeds, was arrested on 24 November 2023 on suspicion of supporting a proscribed organisation.
Police said he was later charged with one terrorism offence in relation to "a series of images" he had shared online.
On Friday, Yousef pleaded guilty to the offence at Westminster Magistrates' Court. He will be sentenced on 9 April.
