Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died following an incident in Leeds.
Police were called to reports of a man in his 40s receiving medical assistance in Smithson Street, Rothwell, at around 22:00 GMT on Saturday.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed he died in hospital, adding there had been a "disturbance" in the area before he was treated by the ambulance service.
A 48-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman remain in custody, police said.
Officers have appealed for anyone with information or footage of the incident to get in touch.
