Man seriously injured in Wakefield house fire - police

The fire broke out at about 07:00 BST
A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a fire at a house in Wakefield.
West Yorkshire Police said he was one of six people in the property on Potter Avenue when the fire broke out at about 07:00 BST on Saturday.
Officers said five people suffered minor injuries, including smoke inhalation.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances but an investigation is ongoing, police added.
A cordon has been put in place.
The cause of the fire is not thought to be suspicious
