Plans for £80m regeneration of Hinckley

An application has been submitted for an £80m town centre regeneration project in Hinckley.
The project includes plans for a cinema, bowling alley, restaurants, offices and a new bus station.
Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council and the firms which make up the Tin Hat Regeneration Partnership are behind the scheme.
If plans are approved, work could start on the 10-acre site in 2012 and be completed by 2014.
Several features have been added to the plans after a public consultation last year including an undercroft car park instead of a multi-storey car park.
The Tin Hat Regeneration Partnership comprises Wilson Bowden and Ashcroft Estates.
