Royal weddings influence exhibition in Snibston

A new exhibition in Leicestershire is examining how Royal weddings have influenced matrimonial fashions.
"Getting Hitched", which opens at Snibston Discovery Museum on Monday, looks at more than 200 years of weddings and civil partnerships.
The display includes 21 outfits, the earliest from 1780 and the most recent from 2006.
David Sprason, county council cabinet member for adults and communities, said there was plenty of variety.
He said: "This is a fantastic exhibition that's just in time for Valentine's Day. It looks at the amazing changes over the last 200 years in wedding attire and importantly, it also looks at civil ceremonies.
"With the royal wedding only just around the corner, the exhibition is a great way of seeing just how previous royal weddings have influenced people's choices when it comes to organising their own special day."
