Ryanair has announced six new routes from East Midlands Airport.
The budget airline will offer flights to Barcelona and Almeria (Spain), Chania (Crete), Zadar (Croatia), Corfu and Rhodes from summer 2012.
The Irish carrier now offers 36 destinations from the Castle Donington airport.
Ryanair said the new routes would increase its traffic at the airport to about 1.8m people a year and would help it sustain 1,800 local jobs in 2012.
East Midlands Airport recently had its first ever flight to New York, offered by budget airline Jet2.com.
