Murder arrest after death of man in Leicester

A 23-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man in Leicester.

Emergency services were called to a house in Sylvan Street at 03:20 BST on Sunday following reports that a man had been seriously injured.

The 26-year-old was taken to hospital, where he later died.

The street has been cordoned between its junctions with Pool Road and Beatrice Road, while forensic examination takes place.
