A post-mortem examination has suggested that Brian Robson died as a result of head injuries

A 53-year-old man has been charged with murdering an 84-year-old who was found with serious injuries in a Leicestershire village.

Police found the victim, Brian Robson, injured at a house in Brooklands Road, Cosby, at about 11:30 GMT on Thursday.

He later died in hospital and Peter Bunyan, of Brookfields Road, has been charged with his murder.

Mr Bunyan will appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

A post-mortem examination has suggested that Mr Robson died as a result of a head injury.
