Man found dead and woman hurt in Leicestershire house

A man was found dead and a woman seriously injured at a house in Leicestershire.

A child, who was unharmed, was also found inside the property in Holland Crescent, Ashby de la Zouch, at about 15:20 GMT on Thursday.

The woman was taken by air ambulance hospital after suffering "extensive injuries".

It is not yet clear how the man died, but officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with his death.
