A man who was fatally stabbed during an attack in a residential car park has been named.

Pedro Godinho, 22, died in hospital after being discovered in Canonsleigh Road, Leicester, on Sunday morning.

A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. A 21-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Det Ch Insp Martin Smalley said they were "working to establish the exact circumstances" surrounding the death.

He added: "I am keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened or who has information about how the man sustained his injuries".
