Man stabbed in neck in East Goscote attack

A man has life-threatening injuries after being stabbed in the neck in Leicestershire.
The 35-year-old was attacked in Lilac Way in East Goscote just before 19:00 BST on Sunday.
He remains in hospital in a critical condition, police said. No-one has been arrested.
A force spokeswoman could not confirm speculation that the victim, who was out with his dog, was attacked by another dog walker.
The area remains cordoned off while officers investigate.
