Leicester: Pedestrian fatally struck by lorry on M1 motorway

A pedestrian was killed when he was hit by a lorry on the M1 in Leicestershire, police have said.
The man, in his 30s, was struck by the HGV close to junction 20 on the northbound carriageway at 07:47 BST on Wednesday.
The northbound carriageway remains shut, while the southbound side - which had been closed - has now reopened.
Any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage have been asked to contact Leicestershire Police.
