A shopfront was damaged after thieves broke into a cash machine to steal money.

Police said they received reports of the incident in Sturdee Road, Leicester at 03:54 GMT on Sunday.

A cash machine located at the front of the property and a door were damaged during the attack.

Detectives said they were carrying out "significant enquiries" and made an appeal for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
