An investigation has been launched into the death of a man at a Leicestershire dairy.

Emergency services were called to Long Clawson Dairy, in Long Clawson, at about 19:00 GMT on Sunday following a report a man had been found injured.

The man was later pronounced dead at the scene in Hickling Lane, Leicestershire Police said.

Police are liaising with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), which confirmed it was investigating the death.

Long Clawson Dairy is one of the world's only dairies allowed to produce Stilton cheese.

The firm told the BBC it did not wish to comment at this time.
