Leicester: Brothers admit killing man attacked on night out

Two brothers admitted to causing the death of a man in Leicester.
Craig Maposa, 26, was on a night out with friends in Dryden Street when he was attacked at about 05:40 BST on 5 August.
He died a few days later in hospital as a result of head injuries.
Blessing, and Brendon Mukunguruste, of Coronation Avenue, Wigston, and Cleveleys Avenue, Leicester respectively, both pleaded guilty to manslaughter on Thursday.
They will be sentenced on 22 March.
Police said an argument occurred between Mr Maposa and the brothers after leaving a nightclub.
When they turned into Gower Street, the defendants attacked the victim, punching him to the floor and knocking him unconscious.
The pair then left the scene after dragging the victim out of the road and leaving him alone on the pavement.
Mr Maposa regained consciousness a short time later and was helped by a member of the public, who walked with him towards Gravel Street.
He got into a taxi at about 08:25 and was taken to his home address in the Eyres Monsell area of the city. The following day, he was found unresponsive at his home and taken to hospital.
Tests showed he had suffered a large bleed on the brain. He was pronounced dead on 7 August.
'Tragic outcome'
Detectives from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU) began looking into the case after Mr Maposa's admission to hospital.
The brothers were identified and arrested. They were initially charged with murder and were due to stand trial later in March, police said.
However, the charge was changed to manslaughter following the instruction of a number of digital forensic experts, the force added.
Det Insp David Greenhalgh said: "I am pleased the defendants have pleaded guilty to causing the death of Mr Maposa - saving his family the pain of having to attend court for a trial and hearing again the details of this terrible incident.
"What started out as a verbal argument has ended with such a tragic outcome. A young man has sadly died after being violently attacked and a family now have to live with the continued pain and grief of losing a loved one."
