Leicester: Roads reopen after fire at former retirement home

Three roads in Leicester have reopened following a fire at a disused building.

Westcotes Drive was shut after crews were called to the former Bradgate House retirement home at 09:34 GMT on Saturday.

Harrow Road and Sykefield Avenue were also closed while emergency services responded to the fire at the three-storey building.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said no-one was injured in the blaze.
