Attempted murder arrest after 16-year-old boy stabbed in Leicester

Police said officers were called to Sawley Street in Leicester on Wednesday
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after another youth was stabbed in Leicester.
Police were called to reports a 16-year-old boy had been stabbed in Sawley Street shortly after 21:30 GMT on Wednesday.
He was taken to hospital where he is being treated for injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
Leicestershire Police said the 16-year-old boy remained in custody following his arrest.
Police previously said officers believed the injured boy had been involved in an altercation with a group of youths near to the junction with Evington Road.
Det Insp Mike Chandler said: "Our investigation into this incident is continuing and I'd ask anyone with information about the incident, but who has not yet spoken to police, to come forward."
