Shepshed: Dapper sheep mural appears in town centre

A new mural featuring a dapper sheep has appeared in a Leicestershire town centre.
Flooring firm Robert Newbold & Sons asked local artist Buber Nebz to brighten up the plain wall of its building in Market Place, Shepshed.
The artwork, which took more than 55 hours to complete, is a homage to the town's association with the wool trade.
Robert Newbold, who owns the building, said there had been plenty of positive feedback to the design.
He said: "I think the mural is symbolic to the town. Buber has done a fantastic job.
"Buber saw the vision on the building, I then told him what I wanted and we went with it.
"The reaction from the public has been miles better than I expected. 99.9% of feedback has been positive and it's given the town a lot to talk about."
Buber Nebz said he had been "eyeing up" the plain wall while walking his dog.
"Last year, Rob from Newbold's dropped me a message and asked if I could pop down and check out the wall," he said.
"I found it really weird how the owner of the space asked me to paint on it after I've been eyeing it up for a while.
"Feedback has been good, people have been driving slow so they can get a glimpse of it.
"A woman messaged me to say she loved the design but was shocked to see a 25ft sheep staring back at her.
"The completion of the mural timed really well with the town centre revamp. I think they [the council] finished a couple of weeks before I finished.
"People have said it's a great addition to the area and the mural is a nice thing to look at before you head into the newly-renovated areas."
