Loughborough: Drink-drive arrest after car crashes into parked bus

Leicestershire Police said the suspect had been released as investigations were ongoing

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a car crashed into a parked bus in Leicestershire.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in Derby Road, Loughborough, shortly before 00:40 BST on Tuesday.

A spokesperson for the fire service said no injuries were reported, and the bus had no passengers onboard, only the driver.

The 31-year-old suspect has been released pending further inquiries.
