A man has been arrested after reports of house windows and vehicles being damaged in Leicester.

Police first went to Staveley Road after midnight on Tuesday, to a report of a damaged car blocking the road.

The car was removed, however officers later received reports of more damaged cars and house windows in Darley Street.

A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, while police inquiries remain ongoing.

Officers believe the incidents are linked, and were the result of a dispute between two men.

They left the location prior to officers arriving, the force added.

Police have urged anyone with information or footage to come forward.
