CCTV shows sex offender discarding gag
The moment a sex offender fled the scene of an attack in Leicester has been caught on CCTV.
Emil Emilov, 25, was sentenced at Leicester Crown Court on Thursday for sexually assaulting a 19-year-old woman as she walked home from working in a bar in the early hours of 28 May 2023.
An investigation found he had left the country, but he was arrested on his return to the UK at Luton Airport months later.
Police said CCTV footage showed him discarding a rag, which he used to gag his victim.
