Hospital staff in Lincolnshire get productivity advice
- Published
A programme to improve the efficiency of Lincolnshire's hospital wards is being rolled out across the county.
Helen Beet from United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust said managers were looking at ways that staff could "work more productively".
Modules cover medicines, admissions, shift handover, meals, nursing procedures, hygiene and ward rounds.
Another key point of the programme makes sure the patient white board is used properly to help communication.
Staff from all wards at Lincoln County Hospital, Pilgrim Hospital and Boston and Grantham and District Hospital will attend a workshop in September.
The trust said the project has already been successfully implemented in more than 45 wards in Lincolnshire.
