Bakkavor food factory to cut 170 jobs

About 170 jobs are to go at a food packaging plant in Lincolnshire.
Bakkavor has confirmed the jobs will go at Bourne Prepared Produce in Bourne by the middle of January next year.
As many as 375 jobs were under threat under original plans, but that was reduced after a 90 day consultation period.
About 700 people will remain at the site, one of eight owned by the company in the county, including its main UK office.
