Metal thieves target power cables in Gedney Hill

Thieves have stolen a large quantity of copper cable from overhead power lines in a Lincolnshire village.
About 400m (1,312ft) of three-strand copper wire was taken from West Drove North at Gedney Hill.
After discovering the theft on Sunday morning, police said the thieves had used specialist equipment to cut the cables.
Anyone who may have information or witnessed anything suspicious is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police.
