A prison inmate has been charged with murder after a 73-year-old man was found dead at HMP Lincoln.

Alan Goode, who was jailed for voyeurism, was discovered in his cell on 31 October. A post-mortem examination found he died from head injuries.

Krzysztof Mroz, 35, has been remanded in custody and will appear before Lincoln Crown Court on 20 November.

Mr Goode, from Leicestershire, was serving a nine month jail term.

He was sentenced last month after being caught in the toilets of a Leicester shopping centre.
