A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a 58-year-old man in a Lincolnshire village.

The 48-year-old was held after police were called to a house in School Lane, Broadholme, near Saxilby, on Monday afternoon, Lincolnshire Police said.

A force spokesperson said a "heavy police presence" would be in place for a number of days.

The dead man's family had been informed and were being supported by specially-trained officers, they added.

The arrested man remains in custody.
