A man who admitted a string of sex offences including child rape has been jailed for 12 years.

At a previous hearing at Lincoln Crown Court, Andrew Bonner, 56, pleaded guilty to 15 sexual offences committed in the Lincoln area.

They included raping a child aged under the age of 13 and causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

Bonner, of Chatteris in Cambridgeshire, committed all the offences against the same victim, the court was told.

At a sentence hearing on Monday, Bonner was also made the subject of an indefinite sexual harm prevention order.

Judge Catarina Sjolin Knight had previously warned him he faced a sentence of "many years" for what she described as "extremely serious matters".
