Man arrested over alleged Grimsby attempted child abductions

Police appealed for anyone with information about the incident to get in touch

A man has been arrested in connection with the alleged attempted abduction of two children in Grimsby.

Officers were called on Sunday afternoon to reports a man had spoken to two children in Bradley Road before grabbing one of them by the arm.

A man, 27, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of attempted abduction and one count of possession with intent to supply, according to Humberside Police.

He remained in custody while inquiries continued, officers added.

Anyone who saw what happened, or who had information about the incident, was asked to contact police.
