Boston attempted murder arrest after man seriously injured

Police said the man was injured on Wormgate at some point on the evening of 18 November

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was seriously assaulted in Lincolnshire.

The victim, aged in his 50s, suffered serious injuries during the incident in Wormgate in Boston on Saturday evening, Lincolnshire Police said.

A 30-year-old man was arrested in Luton on Tuesday morning in connection with the attack.

The men are believed to have known each other and officers asked anyone with information to contact the force.
