Two people have been arrested on suspicion of burglary after a woman claiming to be pregnant tricked her way into a house.

The victim, a woman in her 70s, was targeted at her home on Sea Lane in Ingoldmells on 16 November when the suspect asked to use the toilet.

She was later found "throwing items" from a window to an accomplice outside, according to Lincolnshire Police.

A woman, 38, and a man, 43, were arrested on Monday, officers said.

Both had since been released on conditional bail pending further inquiries, the force added.
