Two people have been arrested after drugs went missing as an ambulance crew attended an emergency call.

Three vials of adrenaline disappeared from a paramedic's kitbag when they went to a property in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, last week, police said.

A woman in her 30s and a man in his 50s were arrested on suspicion of theft and have been released under investigation, the force added.

Officers are still searching for the missing medication.

"Anyone with any information is asked to get in touch," Lincolnshire Police said.

"As a precaution, we're advising anyone who may have come across vials or been offered other medication recently to contact us, so we can retrieve it in the first instance."
