A man who sexually assaulted a child in Lincolnshire has been jailed for four years and nine months.

Adam Raado, of no fixed address, was sentenced for two counts of sexual activity with a child at Lincoln Crown Court on Friday 22 March.

The 43-year-old carried out the attacks on his victim in the Grantham area in 2022, police said.

Raado was also handed a sexual harm prevention order and placed on the sex offenders' register for life.

Lincolnshire Police says the force is committed to bringing criminals who abuse children to justice.

A spokesperson said: "We would like to thank everyone who contributed to this case and helped gather evidence for this successful prosecution and sentence."
