A man has been arrested over a two-car crash in Lincolnshire in which a woman died and five other people were injured.

Two cars collided on the A16 between Kirton and Sutterton roundabout, near Boston, on 4 March.

A 45-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of one count of causing death by dangerous driving, police said.

He has been released on police bail while investigations continue.

Emergency services were called just before 07:00 GMT on 4 March after a Volkswagen Scirocco collided with a Vauxhall Zafira, which was travelling towards Spalding.

The 45-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of four counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
