Collection of autographs by famous showbiz names is up at auction

An autograph book featuring the signatures of famous 60s stars including Paul McCartney is to be auctioned off later.
The book belongs to a woman who collected the names when she was a teenager and worked at Lincoln's Eastgate Hotel.
She managed to meet many of the celebrities who stayed at the hotel.
Stars who signed her book included Elton John, Gene Pitney, Johnny Cash and Barbara Windsor.
Kathryn Lister, of Scunthorpe auctioneers Potters, said it was rare to get so many autographs in a single book.
"We've had quite a few autograph books in recently - the Jimi Hendrix one last auction, and a couple of auctions ago we had the Rolling Stones," she said.
"Normally, we just get one good name. This has got loads of good names that everybody knows."
Other famous names in the book include Matt Monro, George Best, Don Everly and Leo Sayer.
Ms Lister estimated the autograph book could fetch between £1,500 and £2,000.
Also going under the hammer is an artificial Christmas tree bought from the now-defunct high-street chain Woolworths for sixpence in the 1920s.
Ms Lister said she found it in its original box while clearing a house in Brigg, North Lincolnshire.
"It is in pristine condition," she said.
